Absentee (Mail-in) Ballots
There's still time... (Oct. 31 Deadline)
Some people believe that it is always best to vote in person (as the U.S. Post Office admits to losing 5% of all mail). Others prefer to vote using a paper mail-in ballot (whether because of convenience or suspicions of malicious hacking of electronic voting machines). In Colorado, early voting starts on Oct. 23rd, but some people will be traveling on trips out of town during the voting period. October 31st is the last day to apply for an absentee ballot for the General Election if mailed.
It is a rather long ballot this year, and many people will want time to study both the issues and the ballot to ensure that their vote is cast properly. This combination could cause long lines. The more people that vote early, the less pressure there is on Election Day (Nov. 7).
You can order a mail-in ballot by downloading a form from:
If you are reading this, I assume you are a voter... but you know people who aren't voters. Bother them. Guilt trip them. Tell them that if they don't vote, they have no business complaining about politics. If they join the ranks of the silent majority who don't vote... they are allowing bad politicians to be elected. If they want REAL change, only they can help by voting in support of Libertarian issues and candidates.
