A Denver police officer who pulled a gun on a man riding a snowmobile down a city street during one of last winter's large storms pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor and agreed to quit his job Thursday.
In return, prosecutors dropped a felony menacing charge against Christopher Dobson, 46, and recommended no jail time.
Osborne said he argued with prosecutors for three hours to go to trial and believes Dobson is getting special treatment because he is a police officer.
Now read the previous post about the guy arrested for growing marijuana, a FELONY, and then look at this cop and justify to me why a man sitting in his home growing a plant that makes him feel better deserves more punishment than a cop who leaves his house gun in hand, to threaten and harass a person peacefully traversing the blizzard on a snowmobile. When are we going to act like a civilized country and hold are politicians and police officers at a higher standard.
