Now, Tancredo, with his hands in your pocket, will collect a dollar-for-dollar match on most of his contributions. Tancredo has raised $2.8 million, with $556,000 in hand.
"This certification assures that the Tancredo campaign will be well-funded through the early primaries," said Bay Buchanan, Tancredo's national chair. "The momentum that the congressman has received from his supporters has been tremendous, and now we will have the funds to raise the level of his fight against open-borders politicians."

Now, Tancredo has every right to run for office and present his views to the American people. Others will argue that in the big picture, $2 million or $3 million is a piddling concern. And there is worse.
For instance, Denver and St. Paul, Minn., the sites of next year's conventions, will each have $50 million from taxpayers available to them to provide security.
