Cop who beat code pink protester, now claims she tried to take his baton

A police report states that the Code Pink war protester shoved to the ground by a police officer during the Democratic National Convention grabbed the officer's riot baton first in a scene not part of the now-famous video.

I really don’t believe this cops story. I just find it odd that this woman would try and wrestle a baton out of this cops hands while she was trying to photograph an event. Of course the part that makes the cop look better in these situations never seems to actually make it to the video, funny how that seems to happen so often. It may be possible that she tapped the baton with her hand while he was poking at her, but that doesn't warrant knocking her to the ground.
