Former Police Chief arrested for being an internet "predator"

A former police chief for the town of Calhan and current police officer with the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs is accused of trying to arrange a sexual tryst with a woman and her 13-year-old daughter, Colorado Springs police said Thursday.

You would think the police would be aware that if they find a young person on the internet wanting to have sex, it is a good bet it is not a young person at all and is instead an undercover police officer. I have not heard of this mother/daughter technique before, but still the same rule applies.
