A teenager who claims he was severely injured when a Denver police officer jumped up and down on his back is poised to receive an $885,000 settlement from the city.

I have followed this story from the beginning and it is very sad. I am not sure if $885,000 is as much as I would demand if it were my kid who the cops attacked in this way. Everyone loses in a situation like this. I hope that this money can help set this kid's life straight.

The criminals are the police, the free people are the 'criminals' 'terrorists' and 'enemy combatants'. Which, I hate to say, is all of us.

The american criminal justice system is a travesty. It is not dissimilar to the Soviet Gulag system. I personally was forced to proceed through the courts on a false domestic violence rap. I personally watched my ex, her lawyer AND two judges lie in court. The judges told me I had prevailed and would be relieved of punishment, but in both cases their court statements were ignored by the police and the 'court'. Finally, without truth and justice in the courts, there is no future for free men in the US. I personally believe the US Constitution is dead.
