DOUGLAS COUNTY - Investigators say the marijuana they seized on Friday has a street value of up to $4 million.
Agents with the South Metro Drug Task Force spotted the marijuana growing in the San Isabel/Pike National Forest on Thursday. It was west of Sedalia in a heavily wooded area with very rugged terrain.

Apparently more pot is grown on government land than anywhere else. The funny thing is that if this were to happen on private land, the private land owner would probably face charges even if it wasn’t his marijuana, but when this happens on government land, nobody from the government ever faces charges for letting pot grow right under their noses.
