To hear the bureaucrats complain you would think the state was in dire straights, but that is obviously not the case when they continue to grow. The bureaucrats always like to pretend that they share the pain of average citizens, but in reality they know they have very little to worry about when it comes to losing their jobs, the parasitical class knows that they can always steal more money from the productive citizens to continue to feed their insatiable appetites, and for the most part the citizens will continue to pay because refusal will result in jail or other violence inflicted upon them.
