DOUGLAS COUNTY - The Colorado State Patrol trooper arrested in his patrol car for drinking while on the job had a blood alcohol level of .194, according to an arrest record reviewed by 9Wants to Know.
I am sure this cop believed that being in uniform and in his patrol car would protect him from any of the consequences that us mere serfs face everyday from guys like him. He was picked up at 7:05 am, this indicates to me that he was probably drinking all night, while on duty. It makes you wonder how many times he has done this and not been caught. It is an extremely rare occurrence for a police officer to pull over another patrol car, no matter how crappy the other patrol car is driving.
