4/20: International Cannabis Day
Tuesday, April 20, 2010
4/20 is International Cannabis Day, celebrated by millions of people throughout the world. Every year on 4/20 at 4:20 pm, citizens worldwide gather together to celebrate their favorite plant.
420 Celebrations often include traditional "smoke-outs", where participants commit civil disobedience by consuming cannabis in public. In Colorado, possession of less than one ounce of cannabis is a petty offense.
Attorney Robert J. Corry, Jr. has just released his annual offer to give free legal representation to anyone who receives a ticket for petty offenses at this year's 420 free speech events. See Rob's letter dated
